Ulasan 2: Computer Boot Process

"Computer Software : Computer Boot Process (03:02)" merupakan salah satu video berdurasi 7 menit pada seri 'Introduction Computers - Computer Basics' milik akun YouTube Mr. Ford's Class. Video ini dirilis pada 29 Mei 2014 dan telah ditonton sebanyak 30 ribu kali serta di- like sebanyak 200 kali. Pada video ini, Ford menjelaskan bagaimana proses suatu komputer dinyalakan. Mulai dari ketika power supply menyala, eksekusi POST ( Power On Self Test ), hingga penyerahan eksekusi ke bootloader. Ford menjelaskan materi-materi tersebut disertai tampilan slide dan perumpamaan yang cukup menarik dan gamblang sehingga mempermudah pemahaman. Di video ini menurut saya komposisi penjelasan cukup bagus, tidak hanya menjelaskan secara umumnya saja namun juga tidak terlalu mendetail sehingga orang awam masih bisa mengikuti. Sayangnya ada beberapa istilah yang terlewatkan untuk dijelaskan sehingga harus mencari sendiri (sebagai contoh istilah CMOS). Github Account: hashlash
